Here is the strangest rust place I had to contend with. Why this car would have rust holes here I have no idea. After I cut out the rust I found it had eaten through both panels so I needed a cut from a donor car.

As you can see there is a piece that comes up from the lower panel and then another piece that overlaps it. Both pieces had to go which left this fun chunk to fix.

This is the under piece welded in and tacked to the supporting sheetmetal behind it. All thats left to do here is grind the welds smooth

Now just weld the top piece over that and its on to another spot.
