We finished the GTX on July 25th and took it to its first show at Great Lakes Dragaway Mopar Show on the 26th. The paint on this car just looks great in the sun.

A very rare option was the A4 Silver interior and we stripped and repaired the seats then recovered them with some great upholstery from Legendary Interiors. This was one of the most frustrating jobs on the car but we all pitched in and they came our grea

Here is a great shot of the car before the show. The blackout treatment with the chrome trim divider was only used on the 1969 GTXs and it really makes the tough look of the car

At the show field the red just popped in the sun and the hood being up hid the one missing emblem on the car.

The headlight buckets are also unique to this year so we had the originals refinished and then we painted them back to a factory fresh look

I did cheat the stock thing on this car as I added air shocks to give it a little rake. They just look a little meaner with a little rake in the stance.
