Since the window lip has a curved profile and I will be doing some patch work here, I traced an outline of the curves onto a piece of cardboard so I could match the profile up later making sure the trim will fit nice and tight.

A couple of things here, first is the insulation above the headliner. It does make the car sound less like a beer can going down the road making the ride more tolerable. I will be putting up a Dyno Mat type of insulator back up here with panel adhesive and shooting it with black pain when it goes back together. Also notice the green tape with numbers on it attached to each headliner bow. Mark them now because they all have a specific location and if you mix them up your headliner will have wrinkles.

Other than the really nasty rust hole you can see here how the bottom trim paint lines up at the door post.

Top clips are for brake lines and speedo cable. Bottom cable is for positive wire to starter and the big brass thing is the proportioning valve for the brakes.
