Fuel System

I use a thread sealer by Permatex on all my fuel and brake line fittings. It isn't necessary but why chance it. Also don't tighten anything up until the very end as these came on and off a few times before it was done.

This is a nice shot to show how well made the lines are and how they contour to the distribution block. Overall the Inline stuff fit well with very few problems. This also gives you a chance to check out the cool date coded coil.

Norm Brady of Crossram Connection restored my carbs and I can't say enough about the quality of his work. All the parts are cleaned, re-plated and assembled with loving care right down to the correct Hemi Carb tags. Norm is listed in the LINKS section of the website for those of you who want to have the best looking carbs in town.

In this shot you can see all the spring, return brackets and linkage hookups. Take care here to ensure all is lubed and smoothly operating. Nothing kicks out the rods faster than a stuck throtte at 7 grand!

This is the throttle cable holdown and the correct method of attaching it. Of course it is unique to the Hemi so either find an original or be prepared to pay a few bucks for the repops.

Can't wait to fie it up and get that second four barrel to open up. While it won't help the milage, it will feel great!.
