For Sale
For the last year it has been looking like we would be selling the Hemi. While it has truly been a labor of love, the pile of bills it generated and with College looming just over the horizon for my two daughters it needed to go. So how does one approach selling an expensive car? Auctions, e-bay, print and internet sales sites com to mind but just up the road is a classic car dealer called Valenti Classics that specializes in collectable and muscle cars. Steve Valenti came out to the house and subjected the Hemi to a very through inspection so we could arrive at a price as well as go over the listing fees and contracts. After he left my wife and I had a good feeling about him and decided to let him list the car. While I could have plastered it all over the internet and magazines and probably gotten a sale, Valenti's took the day to day hassle out of selling the car that I did not have time for. You can reach Steve and his crew at

Here is the Charger at Valenti's all shined up and ready to go in the showroom. I love the reflections of the trees in the pain so you can see the outstanding job that the paint shop did with the deep green.

I never thought the trunk would come out this nice when I was cutting and welding all the parts in.

The classic second generation shape is very evident in this shot.

I don't know why people don't like green cars?

It took forever to find a clean set of dog dish hubcaps but the set I scored from e-bay are nearly perfect.

This picture makes me want to jump in and row the 4-speed down the road.

That Hemi sure fills out the motor compartment and looks great with all the different colors and textures.

I can't begin to count the hours it took to get this all done and correct.
