The original trunk did carry the Mr. Norms sticker well but it had also succumbed to Chicago rust and it needed to be replaced. This one will go on the shelf and become a piece of history. |

My solution was to purchase one from a friend that had been dipped and e-coated so after some scuffing and priming it was ready to go on the car. I wish all the panels had this easy and inexpensive of a solution. |

Okay people have been e-mailing about the dark spot on the deck lid. I could come up with a great long explanation about how through a chemo-metallurgy reaction caused this discoloration but in reality I nicked it with stepladder and had to put a little more primer on it and the color did not match. So it is repaired and ready to go. |
