Here we are racing the Jayhawker car of Chet Gibbs in the other lane. Chet's car is another 60's survivor that we go out with often. Chet runs a big KB Hemi and I have seen that car with daylight under all four wheels when he gets it up! |

This is a a Goodguys nostalgia meet at Indy a few years ago. the Goodguys put on a heck of a show with front engine AA/FD racing and some of the coolest car on the strip not to mention the 4500 street rods that attend. |

Going down the strip at Indy is pretty cool when you think of all the history and great racers that hoofed it on down that asphalt. |

Another thing I like about Indy is the fact that the tow back to the pits is in front of the stands. There is nothing like getting a standing ovation for a job well done when you tow back. So many strips have gotten rid of this feature and it is a real pity that the fans can't show their appreciation to the guys who work so hard at some of the events we go to. |

Raching for the sky in this pass. The car usually carries the front wheels 60-80 feet out so it tough to figure out the 60-foot times on the timeslips. |
